Hi, my name is Lizzie Medved, and I am an Intern at Dunes Veterinary Clinic in Myrtle Beach, SC. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy CrossFit and scrapbooking. I share my life with my goldendoodle Miley, who was born in St. Louis and loves to swim and watch Paw Patrol.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of the job is being able to help people by helping their pets. I also have a particular soft spot for goldendoodles — I get very excited whenever one visits the clinic!
Why I Chose This Profession
I chose veterinary medicine because it combines science, compassion, and precision. I love being able to make real connections with animals and their humans, and I am currently applying to veterinary school to continue building on that passion.
Education
I graduated from King University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Work History
I have been an intern at Dunes Veterinary Clinic since February 2026. I also volunteer at Barnabas Horse Foundation, a non-profit organisation providing equine-assisted psychotherapy for veterans, where I assist with animal husbandry tasks and fundraising events.
